I have been creating art for most of my life but for just over 10 years I have been running my very pink "Inspiring Creativity" art project and I feel grateful every day to be doing something I love so much. As you know, I mainly create mosaics either for my workshop inspiration, for kits, for schools or organisations and always to a set brief.
But........I feel it's time for a new project to get my teeth into and so I am unleashing my crazy brain on creating some of my own mosaic artwork that will be a little more risqué and a step aside from the pretty pink world you have been used to up to now. I suppose you could call it Rachel "after dark".
So, I'm here to introduce my new project, "Scandalous Shards" which I am busy working on, behind the scenes, as well as running Inspiring Creativity – I suppose you could call that my ‘day job’.
I have a new brilliant logo designed by my fabulous friend, Mark Jones, and have set up a new Instagram page too. And, my first EVER solo exhibition is booked and will be taking place from the 6th to 13th of September in my home village of Newnham at The George Café, in their brilliant gallery space.
